Basic: Low Light Tactical Medical Operator Course

Date & Time: September 13th, 2025 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Winslow, NJ

Eligibility: Open to active or retired law enforcement only (federal, state, or local) and military only. 

Description:

This one-day course provides foundational tactical medical training in a dynamic, high-stress environment. It blends basic trauma care (not advanced medical procedures) with both live fire and low light scenario-based work. Students will leave with a Course Completion certificate, Stop the Bleed certification and enhanced readiness to apply lifesaving skills/interventions in real-world conditions.

Morning:

• Stop the Bleed Certification
• Live fire tactical medical drills under stress
• Emphasis on hemorrhage control and casualty movement
• Live fire portion will involve static and moving & shooting drills that go beyond the departments HQC

Afternoon:

• Simunition/dry-fire based low light decision making and trauma response scenarios (white light and optional NVG use)
• Scenario work in a controlled shoothouse
• NVGs optional (limited rentals may be available for an additional fee)
• Flashlight required.

Key Notes:

• This is not a CQB/room-clearing course
• No advanced medical skills are taught—this is a basic trauma-focused, scenario based course
• This course is designed to push students outside of their comfort zones and promote decision-making under pressure in austere environments.

Credential Verification Required:

After registration, an instructor will contact you via email to verify your status as an active or retired law enforcement/military member. Valid credentials must be submitted before attending. Failure to do so will result in removal from the course and a full refund.

Once credentials have been verified, specific course details will be forwarded to the attendee.
