Course Overview

The 1-Day Basic Law Enforcement Drone/sUAS Course introduces officers and agency personnel to the fundamentals of law enforcement drone operations. Participants will learn about program requirements, safe flight practices, operational procedures, and real-world applications. The course includes some hands-on flight experience with a variety of drones across different settings and use cases.

Designed as a solid starting point for those new to drone operations, this training helps bridge the gap for both individual officers and agencies. Students will gain the knowledge needed to better understand drone capabilities, helping prepare them to develop or enhance their own Drone or DFR (Drone as First Responder) programs.

All courses are taught by FAA Part 107 certified active law enforcement instructors and personnel who are engaged in the commercial and law enforcement drone industry, ensuring students receive training grounded in real-world operational experience and current industry standards.
